Özyeğin University

In 2005, the Hüsnü Özyeğin Foundation decided to establish a non-profit research university—Özyeğin University, an entrepreneurial institution that built its contemporary educational system based on scientific studies and research. These were discussed with 500 businesspeople, academics, and university students. The university was officially founded on May 18, 2007, and developed an industry-integrated approach that meets sector needs, becoming the first university in Turkey to adopt a research-based entrepreneurial model. Özyeğin University is distinguished by its modern campus, which has received an international award for providing an ideal learning environment, with state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories, student clubs, sports centers, and business conferences.
