Altınbaş University in Istanbul is one of the newest private universities in Turkey. It was established in 2008 according to the will of the late businessman Mehmet Altınbaş. Initially founded under the name “Kemerburgaz University,” it welcomed its first academic year in 2011. However, in 2017, the university’s name was changed to its current form.
Altınbaş University quickly became one of Turkey’s internationally recognized research universities. It has received numerous awards and patents for its advanced research and has been ranked as the third most preferred university among international students in Turkey. What sets Altınbaş University apart from other private Turkish universities is its focus on strengthening its presence in the business world through its graduates, by adopting the latest educational technologies and training methods.
