Eastern Mediterranean University

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) is recognized as the best university among those in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. It was established in 1979 in one of the most important regions of Northern Cyprus and was founded as a public university offering the highest level of education.

EMU is considered a world-class university, boasting an ideal educational infrastructure that includes state-of-the-art classrooms, modern laboratories, sports fields, a foreign language teaching center, and spaces for personal and social development.

In addition, EMU offers around 200 programs at the diploma, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels across various fields, including medicine, engineering, administration, social sciences, and many others, which will be detailed further.
